"I believe that music is a complex and colourful language and there are many approaches to learning it. Starting with classical piano and gradually learning multiple stringed instruments, I have repeatedly undergone the process of deciphering a new instrument. My passion for music is something that I hope to instill in all of my students. Lessons are personalized and suited to meet your needs, whether your goal is to entertain others, or just entertain yourself.

Experience:

Dustin McGifford is an Okanagan based musician and songwriter. Signing his first professional singing contract at age 9, Dustin already has a long list of accomplishments including performing and competing in both Canada and the United States. Travelling across Canada, Dustin has performed in every style of venue from coffee shops to arenas. With a true passion for music, he enjoys playing any instrument he can get his hands on. Teaching piano, guitar, vocals, ukulele, bass, and mandolin. Dustin also enjoys playing cello, accordion, drums and harmonica.

Dustin has also performed in many musicals, including the debut of the original musical written by Pat Brown and Randall Robinson of Kelowna titled "Raft of the Medusa". Other lead roles Dustin has performed include Marius (Les Miserables), Anthony (Sweeney Todd), Joseph Pulitzer (Newsies), and Officer Lockstock (Urinetown). As well as roles in Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Hair, Chess, and The Secret Garden.
